For the price, our stay at Criterion Hotel-Motel was an absolute steal. The room was spacious, with a lovely private balcony and heritage charm throughout. The location, right by the river, provided excellent views and a perfect spot for a relaxing evening. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The breakfast selection could use some improvement, perhaps by offering a wider variety of options.

Our room was well soundproofed and new-fashioned with King sized bed as well as cooking equipment.

The place was comfortable and rooms here were reasonably large. I had reasonably priced room with a kitchenette.

The room I booked was would benefit from updated furniture and available for the aircon. Location: the hotel was so close to the different areas as well as river and town streets.

Great stay, amazing views and friendly staff. The room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a great shower. The location was perfect for us, away from the noise of the city and no truck traffic overnight. The meals at the hotel were delicious, especially the garlic bread and the mixed grill. a fantastic place to stay for anyone traveling through the area.

The building itself is a bit dated and could use some updates, such as new carpets and appliances. The shared toilets were not in the best condition, with a dirty floor and an old toilet seat.

Excellent services, strong Wi-Fi. Neat, stocked room with stunningly beautiful views over street. Easy to get to, excellent location close enough to restaurants and cafes, the actual pub, and Rockhampton after 8.30pm one Friday night.

Its location is incredible, short walk to the riverside as well as righht on the river, tranquil area. The room is reasonably priced.

Stayed here for New Year's Eve and had a great time. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They offered us complementary tea and coffee on arrival and replenished the room with fresh towels and toiletries daily. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Plus, the room had a fantastic view.

The restaurant service left a lot to be desired. The food was mediocre, and the staff seemed to be disorganized and slow.

Modern restaurant, a nice size and brand-new room with cooking equipment, comfortable chairs plus machine going off every hr.

The nicest place to stay when traveling to Rockhampton. Gorgeous hotel with accommodating staff, next to pubs and eateries. A wide array of options, awesome food. Great location, at walking distance from an arts theater.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel-motel. the value for money was excellent - it provided an inexpensive way for my family of four to stay. Secondly, the location was great, with the hotel situated right on the river and close to other restaurants. Lastly, the staff were attentive and the service was top-notch. The basic amenities in the rooms were well-maintained, and I particularly appreciated the kitchenette and the option to have breakfast.

This hotel offers excellent value for money. The prices are reasonable and the attention to detail is impressive. The location behind the restaurant by the river is simply beautiful. The staff provide exceptional service and the basic amenities in the rooms with a kitchenette make for a comfortable stay.

I loved the location of the hotel, right by the river and close to the city centre. The historic pub next to it was a great addition. The hotel facilities were great, and I enjoyed the lovely meals and breakfast here. The staff was friendly and helpful.
